- PLAY VARIATIONS for the Advanced Player
-
- After you have mastered your favorite course here are some
- intentional handicaps which you may wish to impose upon yourself in
- order to increase the difficultly level (and fun):
-
- 3-club tournament: You must select 3 and only 3 clubs in your golf
- bag before you begin your round. One must be a putter. You must play
- the entire round using only those clubs which you selected, regardless
- of the lie or yardage to the pin. A 3-wood is a good choice.
-
- Do not use left/right arrows to position line-of-flight.
- Alternatively, you must estimate how much to hook/slice each swing.
-
- Same as above on the putting green as well as the fairway!
-
- Hide the "yardage to the pin" number on the screen (try a standard
- 1 x 3" mailing label). This forces you to guess the distance to the pin
- based on the viewing perspective you have on the monitor (just like real
- life).
